Shaq trolls Aaron Gordon by giving him a nine out of ten (Video)

Aaron Gordon jumped over a mascot for his dunk, but it wasn’t enough to impress Shaq.

Remember when Kenny Smith gave Vince Carter a 9 instead of a 10 for one of his dunks? Same thing happened here. Zach LaVine is stealing all of the headlines, and rightfully so, but Aaron Gordon is doing his best to stay close. He jumped right over the mascot and slammed it home:

It was enough to get a 10 score from everybody, except Shaq:

Everyone’s a critic, but I think that was undeserved. Perhaps Shaq feels hard done that nobody on his Sacramento Queens is in the dunk contest this year, but I think that the NBA on TNT panel will look back at this and claim that he was Shaqtin’ a Fool for that.

Nonetheless, Aaron Gordon took it in stride as it was good enough to get him to the final round anyway. He will be going up against Zach LaVine who will try to win it back to back for the first time since Nate Robinson. LaVine set the tone by walking out to “Back to Back” in an effort to play to the crowd, but with jaw-dropping dunks like these, LaVine has the crowd in the palm of his hands.
