Brie Bella could be seeing her final days in WWE as she follows her husband into the sunset.
When Daniel Bryan went out in front of the crowd on RAW last Monday night to announce his retirement, people had a lot of thoughts running through their heads. One of those thoughts was that with Bryan not being able to perform in the ring anymore, his wife, Brie Bella, might not be too far behind him in regards to walking out the WWE door.
Well, it seems like that actually is the case after all.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio Show, Brie Bella is set to leave the company behind soon, although an actual departure date was not confirmed. Brie is scheduled to go one-on-one for the Divas championship this Sunday night at the Fastlane event, so that’s one of the first options for her last appearance before she goes off for post-WWE life.
This report really should come as a surprise to no one. For a long time now we’ve known that she and Bryan have desired to start a family together, and with Bryan done working full-time as a wrestler, the opportunity is now there for them to get the wheels in motion for starting that whole process up. Again, when Bryan announced that he was done, we all sort of saw the writing on the wall that Brie was not really all that far behind him given their family aspirations.
With Brie reportedly done soon and Nikki possibly as well with her neck issues, there’s a chance that WWE will soon be without both Bella Twins on the roster.
