Hardly the headliner of the Champions League knockout stages, the match up between SL Benfica and Zenit St. Petersburg still has plenty of action worth paying attention to. This is the Champions League after all, and no matter how you got there, every squad in the knockout stages deserves to be where they are.

Benfica actually have a very impressive history in the Champions League, as they have brought the trophy back to Lisbon twice and landed as runners-up five times, the second most of any other team out there. That being said, they have not achieved these heights since 1990.

They are taking the Primeira Liga by storm. While they only sit second, they have a league leading 60 goals on the season, which is miles ahead of any other Portuguese team. That firepower could see them wreaking a bit of havoc against their Russian opponents.

Zenit St. Petersburg, meanwhile, is in a cluster of Russian teams vying for Champions League play. They currently sit fifth in the Russian Premier League on goal differential, seven points from the top, where they finished last year. With Hulk an ever-threatening presence, Zenit took tops in their group, beating out an underwhelming Valencia and Lyon in the process.

Benfica pulled off an impressive second place, having to take care of Galatasaray, which is never an easy feat.

With all of that in mind, let’s figure out where to watch the game. The match can be seen on Fox Sports 2. In terms of streaming, it can be streamed on Fox Soccer 2GO USA, Fox Sports GO and Fox Deportes.
