According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks and Wizards could revisit talks centered around center Miles Plumlee.

The Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks are two Eastern Conference teams that have taken steps back this season. As a result of taking a step back, both teams could be very active before the NBA Trade Deadline, as they look to make moves for the future and to improve their team.

They could also be looking to make a move with each other as well. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks could revisit talks that they’ve had before over center Miles Plumlee, if the Bucks don’t find a larger deal before the deadline.

While the Wizards already have a plethora of big men on the roster and Marcin Gortat at the center position, adding Plumlee up front would provide them with more athleticism and they could go with some different looks on offense. The Bucks meanwhile have been gauging interest in all of their big men and could very well move center Greg Monroe.

If they move Monroe, it will be interesting to see how willing they are to move Plumlee, but if the Wizards and the Bucks can make something work for each side, then it’s certainly possible that two could come together on a deal that lands the center in Washington.

Plumlee is on a very cheap contract that is in it’s final year and by acquiring him, it wouldn’t prevent the Wizards from having to sacrifice any plans for free agency. The Wizards are probably going to look to make small deals if any on Thursday, because they want to firmly keep themselves positioned for a run at Kevin Durant in free agency.
