Didier Drogba defended his fellow countryman Serge Aurier who made some shocking comments about his PSG teammates.

A few days ago, Serge Aurier went on Periscope and attacked his Paris Saint-Germain teammates and coach, saying in particular that Laurent Blanc is a f—ot and “sucks” Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Nobody knows why he said those things, but it earned him an indefinite suspension and a lot of criticism. But one person that came to his aid was fellow Ivorian and footballing legend Didier Drogba:

Drogba is one of the classiest people on Earth, and while most people would’ve been disgusted by Aurier’s actions, he made a very nice gesture by offering support. Even though Aurier’s actions were inexcusable, Drogba does have a point when he says that young players can never learn from their mistakes if people don’t offer him support.

He ended his message by saying “Good luck my brother” in French while the hashtag translates to “Godspeed”. Aurier is a talented player, and the sooner he gets back on the field the better for PSG. However, he will have to repair the damage that he created with his fellow teammates. If Drogba is willing to forgive Aurier, though, his teammates should too.
