The Magic reportedly won’t accept an offer for Channing Frye from the Cavaliers.

With the NBA Trade Deadline fast approaching here, one of the more intriguing players on the block is Orlando Magic forward/center Channing Frye, who as we know has been made more than readily available. Well, one of the teams that apparently dropped an offer was the Cleveland Cavaliers, although the Magic don’t seem as if they’re gonna bite on that one.

On Wednesday we learned that the Cavaliers were interested in Frye, and they were willing to offer up Anderson Varejao as part of the deal. But, it appears as if that offer didn’t sit all that well with Orlando.

Really, this shouldn’t be all that surprising to anyone. Right when the reports were coming to light that this is what the deal was, you immediately assumed that the Magic would turn it down.

The fact of the matter is that they can certainly get a better deal from someone that needs a big man down the stretch run of the season, but you have to at least give the Cavaliers some props for even making the attempt in the first place.

It looks as if Frye might be moving, but he just won’t be moving to Cleveland.
