What team does each NASCAR Sprint Cup driver compete for?
The Daytona 500 takes place on Sunday with each NASCAR Sprint Cup team tied at the top of the standings. After this race, some of the teams will distance themselves in the NASCAR Chase for the Cup standings, while others will have work to do after the first race of the season.
Throughout the season itās important for drivers to work well with their fellow teammates as well as other teams for the greater goods. If they have too many rivals or enemies, it will be tough to find help in tough situations. Likewise, both of the broadcast teams on FOX and NBC will reference the various teams throughout their coverage, so itās a good idea to catch up who is on what team.
Thereās been a few changes between the 2015 and 2016 seasons as well that may cause some viewers to be confused on first glance. Each full-time Sprint Cup team and their drivers are listed below in alphabetical order.
