NBA Rumors: No one called the Warriors about a trade

The NBA trade deadline passed without a single team even thinking about calling the Golden State Warriors.

When you’re the best team in basketball and have a wealth of talent beyond your starting five, you’d think that the phone might ring a couple of times at the NBA trade deadline. After all, we heard reports of teams like Milwaukee placing a call about acquiring Dwight Howard, so just about anything and everything happens at the deadline.

One thing that didn’t happen this trade season was a call being placed to the Golden State Warriors front office. Even though there are guys like Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston could be seen as expendable veterans, GMs around the NBA knew better than to even think about asking.

This can’t be that big of a surprise to anyone. Sure, the Dubs have an embarrassment of riches as far as talent is concerned, but there’s no chance can hell the front office was going to even diff the idea of messy with chemistry. Golden State is the best team in basketball and will probably sweep their way to another NBA title this season — there’s no reason to change a single thing about the roster.

The fact that GMs around basketball knew this goes to show just how ridiculous this Warriors team is in all aspects.
