According to Marc Stein, the Milwaukee Bucks could choose to keep Miles Plumlee instead of trading him on Thursday.
The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday, and teams are running out of time to make decisions on which players they are going to keep or move. The Milwaukee Bucks have been in plenty of rumors over recent days and one of the players that has been in rumors for some time now is Miles Plumlee.
The young athletic center has trade value on the market and he’s a serviceable big that teams would want to add for extra depth on their roster. With the Bucks heading toward a decent draft pick and Plumlee’s contract up after the season, they’re going to try to get something out of him.
However, they might not be so quick to jump on any offers for him now. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Bucks might keep him because of John Henson’s health.

Henson has been sidelined with an injured back and the Bucks certainly aren’t going to rush him back with the team heading for the lottery. It might just be better for the team to have a healthy Plumlee take his minutes so they can have a consistent big man rotation to end the season.
There’s plenty of factors that go into a team’s decision on whether or not to move a player and injuries to the roster are certainly one of them.
