The talent exchange between New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Ring of Honor (ROH) has been taken to another level at the start of 2016. While there have been plenty of incredible matches since the two promotions began doing business with one another and holding crossover shows, there hasn’t been anything like what fans have seen through the first two months of 2016. After what happened on the first night of NJPW Honor Rising: Japan 2016, fans have to be wondering what’s in store for Day 2.

On Friday in the Day 1 proceedings, the main event sent shockwaves through the wrestling world as NJPW’s Tomhiro Ishii pulled off an incredible upset to pin Roderick Strong and win the ROH World Television Championship. Not only does this make things ridiculously intriguing going forward, but it has to make fans wonder what can happen on Day 2.

For NJPW Honor Rising: Japan 2016 Day 2, the main event will be for another top title in ROH as ROH World Champion Jay Lethal will defend his belt against Tomoaki Honma. Could the NJPW and ROH bookers have another huge surprise in store? Even if they don’t, there is going to be a plethora of good wrestling happening in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday.
