Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The Indiana Pacers are officially in the playoff race. With over half of the season over with, the Pacers are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, thanks to a strong showing at home this year. While no one really talks about Indiana being a contender in the East, the Pacers will be a team to watch for.

With Paul George returning to form this season, the Indiana Pacers are in much better shape and are moving in the right direction. He’s leading the team with 23.3 points per game to go along with 7.1 rebounds as well as 4.0 assists. George Hill has also been solid, averaging 13.0 points and shooting 43 percent from three-point range.

Oklahoma City isn’t quite in the same boar as the Pacers, but the Thunder don’t get quite the same amount of respect as the other top two teams in the conference. The Thunder are 40-14 and somehow still in a distant third place in the conference. Oklahoma City went into the All-Star Break red-hot, winning 8-of-10 games.

Kevin Durant is the obvious leader for Oklahoma City and the Thunder will hope to keep him around this offseason when he becomes a free agent. He’s averaging 27.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. You can never forget about Russell Westbrook who is putting up 24.1 points, 10.0 assists and 7.4 rebounds per contest.
