2. Reggie Ragland – Alabama

Not many schools produce surefire prospects quite like Alabama. After a 2015 season that resulted in a National Championship for Alabama, inside linebacker Reggie Ragland is going to be one of the top defenders off the board come draft time.

His game translates effortlessly to the NFL and every team in need of a linebacker early is going to give him a serious look with their draft pick. He follows in a long line of Alabama linebackers that have jumped straight to the pros as dynamic players on defense.

Being an Alabama product, Ragland is the right type of physical and he’s also incredibly smart, which is why he was one of the leaders on a defense that helped lead Alabama to a National Championship. He’s got great size and even more importantly, he can do it all.

He doesn’t get swallowed up by blockers and knows where the play is going off the snap. He’s also got great tackling skills and knows how to wrap up properly on plays.

When teams look at Ragland leading up to the draft, they’re going to be looking at a player that can be the leader of a defense for many years to come.
