Vince Carter is still finding ways to amaze us.

This year’s NBA Slam Dunk contest is being hailed as perhaps the best ever, with Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine turning in individual performances that have been compared to Vince Carter.

That’s no small comparison, as Carter’s dunk contest performance is iconic and helped create the legend that continues to surround him today. But old age has ravaged his once youthful skills, as he’s firmly in the twilight of his career. That being said, Vin-sanity is still alive and well — it’s just managed to evolve.

Rather than slamming home dunks by flying above the rim, Carter has instead turned to what can only be described as witchcraft to amaze us. Take a look at this full court shot he just heaves up against the Timberwolves for proof that Carter remains otherworldly in just about every way on the court.

That’s just not fair.

Vince Carter made a name for himself getting air under him whilst flying for dunks. Now he’s found out how to get air under the ball in order to rocket it full court into the basket.

This is dangerous to our health as human beings and we must be advised.
