MLB MVP Bryce Harper will be attending the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

There is not many bigger sporting events than the Daytona 500. On Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup season will kick off at Daytona International Speedway and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the heavy favorite to win his third Daytona 500. He’s the most popular driver in the sport and he will have many high-profile friends there to support him. One person that will be there is Washington Nationals slugger and MLB MVP, Bryce Harper.

Harper will be attending the Daytona 500 and will undoubtedly be cheering on Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt Jr. got a hold of the reserved invites and began tweeting out some of the people that will be at his event.

There’s no one bigger than the MVP and being at the Daytona 500 fits in with the Washington Nationals having their spring training in Florida. Also in attendance, will be Buzz Aldrin and Wyclef Jean, according to Earnhardt Jr.’s tweets.

It’s clear that based on Earnhardt Jr’s list, he has a very diverse group of friends. There’s nothing quite like having an MVP in your corner, but Earnhardt Jr. is going to look to put on an MVP performance of his own on Sunday.
