Draymond Green passes up wide open three, hits Stephen Curry for the layup (Video)

Warriors forward Draymond Green contemplated a wide open three but passed it up and hit Stephen Curry for the layup.

The Golden State Warriors are so good at scoring, that they will pass up open looks to get an even better look. That’s just the type of offensive scoring level that the Warriors exist on. Against the rival Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, Warriors forward Draymond Green spent time contemplating if he wanted to shoot an open three or pass to Stephen Curry down low.

Green stood beyond the arc with the ball in his hands and sort of stuttered in his movement not knowing what he wanted to do. In the end, he thought passing down low to Curry for the open layup was the right call and he couldn’t have been more correct.

It’s one thing for the Warriors to be an offensive juggernaut, but for them to be so good at scoring that they don’t know which way they want to punish their opponents is something else. That’s what makes the Warriors so fun to watch as a basketball team.

No one knows what’s next and not even the Warriors know what insane thing that they’re going to drum up next. Here it was passing on an open three for a layup. For any other team, passing on an open shot would be considered insane. This isn’t any other team, however.
