The 2016 NFL Draft has several interior offensive linemen that can help NFL teams. Here are the top 10 centers and guards available in the 2016 NFL Draft.

In the NFL, it is crucial to win in the trenches. With the league becoming more and more of a quarterback-driven league, it is increasingly imperative to have suitable protection up front so that the quarterback can stay clean in the pocket.

While centers and guards are often two of the most overlooked positions on the gridiron, it at times can be painfully obvious when an NFL team has lousy interior offense linemen, as the interior of the pocket routinely collapses and the team’s star quarterback is perpetually laying on his back after taking unnecessary hits in the backfield.

Not having great integrity on the interior of the offensive line can also prove problematic in the running game, as teams with poor offensive lines often find themselves in brutal third and long obvious passing situations because they can’t attack opposing defenses with a north and south running game.

Typically even the best interior offensive linemen don’t merit lucrative draft positions, as most have to wait until day two, probably day three of the NFL Draft to be drafted. However, once a team finds continuity up front with their guards and center, then can the team’s franchise quarterback become a star in the league.

Here are the top 10 available offensive guards and centers that will hopefully make some teams’ offensive lines better in the 2016 NFL Draft.
