WWE Fastlane 2016: Full match card
A look at the match card for Sunday’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view.
Sunday will feature the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. The show will emanate from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH.
Fastlane is the last PPV before WrestleMania 32, which takes place on Apr. 3. Matches that will take place on Sunday have implications for the Show of Shows, including the main event.
Headlining Fastlane will be Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose. The winner of this match will become the No. 1 Contender to Triple H’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32. The favorite seems to be Reigns, who has been on a collision course with The Authority since late 2015. A win would position him for the WrestleMania coronation he almost received in 2015 but was changed. This saw Seth Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to eventually pin the Big Dog.
Ambrose may have the second largest odds of winning this. Losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Raw may mean there are plans in place for the Lunatic Fringe. It could even mean coming out victorious on Sunday.
Outside of this match, there are three title matches. The most notable one may be on the Kickoff Show with Kalisto facing Alberto Del Rio in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match for the U.S. title.
AJ Styles will also be making his WWE PPV singles match debut against Chris Jericho. They have feuded since the night after Royal Rumble with Y2J teasing a heel turn along the way.
With this in mind, here is a look at the full match card for Fastlane.
