A look at the WWE Fastlane Kickoff Show’s match of Kalisto vs Alberto Del Rio for the U.S. title.
Kalisto and Alberto Del Rio have been going back and forth for the U.S. title for months. First the Lucha Dragon won the belt, then lost it back to ADR, and won it back at the Royal Rumble in Jan.
One last match would be created for WWE Fastlane, except there is a 2-out-of-3 Falls match stipulation. It will also take place in the Kickoff Show. Can Kalisto fend off Del Rio yet again?
Del Rio is looking for the gold again.

Del Rio often looks to disrespect Kalisto by removing his mask. He did so early on in this Fastlane match.

Well, Del Rio certainly isn’t afraid of being disqualified, even if it makes him lose a fall. He would use a chair on Kalisto’s back to cause a DQ to allow the champion to go up 1-o.

Del Rio would quickly take the second fall in the ring. He would hit his trademark double stomp to the chest off the turnbuckle to tie things up at 1.

Del Rio went for the double foot stomp again, but would miss the move.

It happened on the outside, though. Del Rio drove his boots through Kalisto on the barricade.

Kalisto would somehow get the upper hand with a quick roll up of Del Rio for the win!

This was a very fun match to open Fastlane. Kalisto remains the United States Champion as we head into the main show, which should have plenty of fun bouts to watch.
