2016 NFL offseason: Dallas Cowboys needs

After a 4-12 season, the Dallas Cowboys look to re-tool their roster and become a force again in the NFC East

The Dallas Cowboys have some work to do after an awful 2015 which saw the team finish 4-12. This came one season removed from 12 wins and an NFC East title.

The biggest reason for the disastrous season was the collarbone injury to quarterback Tony Romo. the team struggled to find his replacement as Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel and Kellen Moore combined for just one win and 11 losses without Romo. While the backup quarterback may have been the biggest hole on the roster, that doesn’t mean there won’t be other areas to address before the 2016 season.

While they already could use help at wide receiver and running back, other holes on the roster could open up as well as the Cowboys have some decisions to make at several key positions this offseason. We begin our look at the ‘Boys offseason by checking out which players could be heading out the door during the free agency period.
