Here is everything you need to know about the 2016 offseason for the Los Angeles Rams.

The Los Angeles Rams will be making their return to the city that they called home for several decades in 2016. After a 2015 season that ended in St. Louis, the Rams have a lot of decisions going forward if they’re going to compete in the NFC West.

The Rams made some big moves recently, when they released defensive end Chris Long, middle linebacker James Laurinaitis and tight end Jared Cook. The move cleared up cap space for the Rams, potentially to get a new quarterback, as they look to signify a new start in Los Angeles.

Although the Rams are looking for a new start in a new home, they will have plenty of the same faces leading the team next season. Head coach Jeff Fisher is still at the helm and they still have plenty of talent on the roster, including Todd Gurley, Aaron Donald, Robert Quinn and others.

The Rams are a very physical team that’s built to compete within their division against some of the most physical teams in football, but they haven’t been very good outside the division nor have they been able to get over that .500 hump as a franchise.

Last year started with promise for the Rams, but quarterback issues kept the team from taking off and they will still face those issues heading into the offseason. After cutting big names from the roster, the Rams will also have to address those areas too.

Then of course, their will be the rumors that will link them to big names in free agency, as they look to make a splash right away in the Los Angeles market.

An intriguing offseason is on tap for the Rams and here is a list of their offseason needs.
