After a fun weekend filled with plenty of basketball, the NBA starts off the work week with seven games on tap for tonight with most of the games starting early.  The Warriors are back in action tonight as they visit Atlanta in the game highlighted on NBA TV, but those are just two of the 14 teams you can pick players from tonight as you build your DFS fantasy basketball lineup.  To see all the plays I like, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

The first game of the night start at 7:00 PM ET which is when FanDuel rosters will lock for the night.  Only one game actually tips off at that time, though, as the Cavs look to pick up a second win in as many days as they face the Pistons who are also on a back-to-back.  At 7:30, the Pacers travel to Miami to take on the Heat while the Knicks host the Raptors at Madison Square Garden.  In the three games with an 8:00 start time, the T-Wolves host the Celtics who play their third road game in the last four nights, the Warriors take on the Hawks, and the Bucks welcome in the Lakers.  The late game of the night completes the NBA TV double-header as the Clippers host the Suns in the game everyone will be watching as the competitions close out tonight to see if they can either hold on and win some cash or close the gap and finish in the money.

If you need some ideas on where to start with your roster for tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides where you’ll find my favorite stars and sleepers for this evening. In this post, you’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible (which is all over the place today).  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. It’s also a good idea to check back to this post and on Twitter before the games get going tonight to see if injury or availability issues have shifted any of my lineups.  If I have to change a lineup or there is a player’s status that you need to know, I’ll get the news to you on Twitter before the 7:00 roster lock.

If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy basketball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy basketball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.

Hopefully we can all start the week out right with a big DFS fantasy basketball night with the help of the FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.
