FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 22
High Value SG
Jamal Crawford-Los Angeles Clippers (5,300): Crawford is a great play tonight with Austin Rivers still out and Chris Paul dealing with a thigh injury. CP3 is expected to play, but if coach Doc Rivers can get him some extra rest Crawford could get even more playing time than the already heavy load he has been carrying. Crawford has played at least 30 minutes in each of the Clippers last six games and has at least 18 points in each contests with 23 fantasy points or more. He had a very impressive 37.1 fantasy points against the Warriors on Saturday on 25 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Since the Suns have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing SG and the second-most fantasy points to opposing PG this season, Crawford should get plenty of chances to light up the scoreboard tonight especially if he inherits some of Paul’s PG duties. ∗∗∗∗∗
Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,900): Zach LaVine might start tonight or he might come off the bench, but either way he should get enough minutes and opportunities to be a solid fantasy option. LaVine has scored in double digits in 11 straight games and actually played more on Saturday off the bench (33 minutes) than when he started on Friday (26 minutes). He has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last ten games and is a solid play tonight against the Celtics since I could see this game turning into a track meet especially with the C’s playing their third road game in four nights. ∗∗∗
O.J. Mayo-Milwaukee Bucks (3,800): Mayo is getting back to full speed after missing a bunch of games at the beginning of the month. He played 38 minutes against Atlanta on Saturday and finished with 33.4 fantasy points on nine points, seven boards, six assists, and five steals reminding us of how diverse his game can be when he’s at his best. Mayo is in a good matchup against LA and will be a nice, cheap fantasy option if he gets so much playing time again tonight. ∗∗
