No. 13 Iowa State Cyclones vs No. 10 West Virginia Mountaineers
Iowa State began conference play 1-3 before reeling off four straight victories. After that, it’s been tough for the Cyclones to really gain any traction. The Cyclones have lose four of their last seven games and are just 19-8 with four games left in the regular season. A tough road game looms at West Virginia on Monday, though.

Georges Niang is going to be key down the stretch if Iowa State is going to make a run in March. The senior forward is averaging a team-high 19.7 points to go along with 6.3 rebounds per game. Monte Morris is another guy to watch for Iowa State. The point guard is putting up 14.8 points and 7.3 assists per game.
West Virginia has had a rough couple of games in the Big 12, losing three of four and not putting up the best fight in those defeats. Monday marks the sixth of seven games against ranked opponents and it will be a solid chance for Bob Huggins’ team to add to their resume for the NCAA Tournament.
Jaysean Paige and Devin Williams have both been back and forth as the team’s top scorer this season with the former currently leading the way. Paige is averaging 13.4 points while shooting 35 percent from three-point range while Williams is putting up 13.3 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest.
