Warriors’ Shaun Livingston soars for dunk over Hawks (Video)

Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston had an open lane and soared for a majestic dunk against the Atlanta Hawks.

Last year in Atlanta, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Atlanta Hawks in a battle of titans. This year, the Warriors are the lone remaining titan of the two and they ran all over the Hawks early and often at the Philips Arena. While the Hawks did their best to try and desperately keep pace early, the Warriors would respond with big blow after big blow. One of those big blows was an emphatic slam by Shaun Livingston.

As the Warriors double-teamed Stephen Curry, they left Livingston wide open and he had a clear lane to the hoop. Curry threw a beautiful past over two defenders and Livingston had a clear break to the basket.

He proceeded to take off for the dunk, while two Hawks defenders tried to close in late, but it was to no avail as Livingston threw down the big slam.

Ever since he joined the league, Livingston has been one of the more athletic guards with his size and ability to dunk, but in Golden State, he has become even more of a weapon coming off the bench and getting minutes with Curry on the floor.

Just about every team has double-teamed Curry at some point, but when they do, he has the ability to make them pay just as he did here.
