Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose might be going up against one another at WrestleMania 32.

For the past few weeks now we’ve all expected that when WrestleMania 32 arrives in Dallas on April 3, Brock Lesnar would be facing off with Bray Wyatt in a match that we have never seen before, and one that would probably be pretty good. The response to these reports were pretty positive, so it was one of the matches that you were looking forward to at the big event.

However, it looks as if that will not be happening anymore, but Lesnar’s replacement opponent will surely keep people happy.

According to the Wrestling Observer Live show on Sunday night after the Fastlane pay-per-view, the plans for Wyatt vs. Lesnar have been officially scrapped, and instead “The Beast” will be stepping into the ring with none other than Dean Ambrose inside AT&T Stadium on the grandest stage of them all.

Given then events that unfolded at the Fastlane show on Sunday night, this does make all the sense in the world. As we know, Roman Reigns was the one to walk out of the main event with the victory, and a good part of the reason as to why that happened is because Ambrose ultimately took Brock out of the match at the end with the chair shots. Sure, it ended up costing Dean the match as well, but we all know by now that Lesnar does not like his title opportunities being taken away from him. Ambrose did just that.

If there is one thing you have to wonder about this potential pairing, it’s what kind of match this will actually be. Using logic — which we all know WWE hates, really — this can’t be a traditional one-on-one match because Ambrose will get slaughtered. But with his penchant for using weapons, if they make this a no disqualification match or something of that no-holds-barred sort, then this could become pretty darn entertaining to watch.
