Dante Fowler has apologized for his role in a fight between his baby’s mother and another woman, captured in video obtained by TMZ.
Dante Fowler was recently subject to a video with his name attached to the headline leaked by TMZ, which is almost never a good thing for any pro athlete or celebrity in general. The video captured Fowler, a player for the Jacksonville Jaguars, practically refereeing a fight between what has been reported to be his baby’s mother, and another woman. It’s not clear if the fight has anything to do with Fowler or if he is currently in a romantic relationship with either woman.
Fowler was clearly involved in the conversation from the start of the video, and literally steps back as to say, “you two can go ahead and settle it yourselves,” as he watches one girl kick off her flip flops and lets the two throw punches. Fowler lets the fight go on for quite a while.
Since the video hit the media, Fowler has had to deal with it to maintain his reputation with the public. Fowler apologized, per TMZ, taking “100 percent responsibility” for everything that went down in the video. He said that he was embarrassed for what went down.
The Jaguars also spoke on the matter, saying, “Violence of this type against others is unacceptable in our society and to our organization. We will continue to look into the incident while offering resources and providing support to Dante and his family to help them through this private matter.”
They said Fowler brought the incident to their attention before it went public and was remorseful. Either way, it was a pretty disgusting display by Folwer to encourage such behavior from two adults.
