FanDuel NBA Picks For February 23

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. Here are my FanDuel NBA picks for February 23:

Next: Point Guards

Feb 21, 2016; Denver, CO, USA; Denver Nuggets guard Emmanuel Mudiay (0) dribbles the ball against Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas (4) in the third quarter at the Pepsi Center. The Celtics defeated the Nuggets 121-101. Mandatory Credit: Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Patrick Beverley – Beverley is coming off of a fantastic 34 fantasy point game against the Suns. I expect that he should have a pretty solid match-up against the back-court of the Jazz as well so I like him in tonight’s contest.

PG – Emmanuel Mudiay – Mudiay is logging plenty enough minutes to continue being a worthy fantasy play. The Nuggets are a bit thin at guard and he should continue to be a solid play across most formats. We are going with mostly value plays for our guards tonight and going to unleash the big dollars at forward and center.

Next: Shooting Guards

Jan 31, 2016; Orlando, FL, USA; Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier (10) looks to pass around Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley (0) during the second half of a basketball game at Amway Center. The Magic won 119-114. Mandatory Credit: Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Evan Fournier – Fournier has been logging heavy minutes and thus been racking up pretty solid games over his last six games. He has not scored less than 27.2 fantasy points in his last six games and he looks set to keep the heavy minutes up for now.

SG – Gary Harris – Harris is another benefactor to the thin guard rotations in Denver. He has been logging around 40 minutes over his last several contests and rates as a solid value play at the low price of $4,700.

Next: Small Forwards

Feb 19, 2016; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward (20) dribbles the ball during the second half against the Boston Celtics at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Jazz won 111-93. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Gordon Hayward – Hayward is quickly becoming one of my favorite players in the NBA. I am not sure why, but there is just something that I like about him. His play has been solid lately and he has scored over 30 fantasy points in each of his last several games.

SF – Maurice Harkless – Harkless has been a great value play over his last four games. His price tag coupled with the minutes he has been playing should make him an excellent bargain for us tonight. Go ahead and get him active.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Power Forwards:

PF – Anthony Davis – And now to drop the hammer on our opponents. We are dropping the big money in this section and I expect us to pull away here. I like having this front-court set up with the rest of our lineup. Davis is coming off of an 89 fantasy point night and is worth every penny of his hefty price tag.

PF – Aaron Gordon – Gordon is coming off of one of the most incredible dunk contests since Dominique and Jordan battled out back some years ago. I know that does not increase his fantasy value, but his fantasy value has been crazy good lately as well. He has not scored less than 30 fantasy points in any of his last five games.

Center:

C – DeMarcus Cousins – Cousins, just like Davis, has been his usual beastly self. He is coming off of a 68 fantasy point performance and despite having a sore tailbone in Saturday’s practice should be good to go for the game tonight. My hope is that this will dissuade others from using him tonight.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you the best of luck in all of your fantasy contests.
