Which drivers are considered the favorites for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 on Sunday?

After a thrilling Daytona 500, NASCAR heads to Atlanta this week for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Jimmie Johnson is the defending winner of the race and he will be a major favorite heading into this week’s race at the 1.54-mile track.

While Vegas has Johnson with high odds of winning this week’s race at Atlanta with 7/1 odds, they do not seem as the overall favorite. According to WESTGATE LV, Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano are tied as the odds-on favorites with 5/1 odds currently heading into Sunday.

Last week’s pole-sitter, Chase Elliott, currently has 40-1 odds heading into Sunday. Other drivers with high odds are Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski and Carl Edwards. After winning the Daytona 500, Hamlin heads into the QuikTrip 500 with 8/1 odds along with Keselowski. Edwards sits at 10/1 odds.

This week should see many of the same names at the front, but with many drivers excelling at mile and a half tracks, the potential for someone new in victory lane is strong. Harvick really made a name for himself last year at the 1.5-mile tracks just like Logano did.
