Klay Thompson won’t be going to Disney World when his Golden State Warriors travel to play the Orlando Magic on Thursday night, but that’s only because he has better things to do.

Like visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, for instance.

Excuse me, I meant Harry Potter Land.

“I’m excited to get to Orlando,” he said in a video posted by ESPN.com’s Ethan Sherwood Strauss following Golden State’s Wednesday night win over the Miami Heat. “They got the new Harry Potter land. That’d be kind of cool. I don’t know if I’m ever gonna in my free time go there, so to be able to go there on the Orlando trip…pretty good time.”

Spoken like a true 26-year-old who likely grew up reading the Harry Potter novels, perhaps viewing them as a gospel for his youth.

I’ve personally never been to Harry Potter World, which is further proof that I suck at life. But I’ve heard good—nay, great—things about the experience.

Hopefully Klay uses part of his $70 million(ish) contract to buy himself a replica Harry Potter wand. He deserves it after his 33-point outing against the Heat.

If we’re really lucky, the entire Warriors team, from Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, to Leandro Barbosa and Kevon Looney, will take a group photo while wearing matching Hogwarts robes and sipping guzzling butterbeers and wielding magic broomsticks and holding authentic quaffles.
