Steph Curry drilled a 40-foot jumper — because of course he did.
There was a point in time when the idea of Steph Curry hitting a 40-foot jumper was an insane idea. It was the type of shot that you’d throw yourself into the back of your couch while watching in sheer awe. But Steph is playing on such a high level that is so far above everyone else that hitting a 40-foot jump shot isn’t that big of a deal.
We’re at that point, folks. The Warriors and Curry are so good that they’re making hard things look so easy that it’s almost an afterthought.
Just watch as Curry drains a 40-foot shot about as casually as one can.
That’s why it’s hard to believe that there’s any hope whatsoever for teams in the NBA outside of Golden State to win the NBA Finals. It’s violently unfair at this point, as Steph seemingly cannot miss. Even when he tries to miss, and takes a 40-foot shot at the buzzer, he doesn’t miss.
Cancel the season, no one is going to stop the Warriors. Not even gravity, physics or logic.
