After his incredible performance in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star weekend, Aaron Gordon became a household name and a player that many casual fans started watching out for in highlight packages. As Gordon showed on that Saturday night, he has an insane leaping ability that makes incredible dunks look easy. With the trade of Tobias Harris to the Detroit Pistons, Gordon also entered the second half of the season with an incredible amount of minutes to show off those dunking skills.

On Thursday night he did just that, by taking off from around where Zach LaVine was in the dunks that bested Gordon in the Dunk Contest to throw down a powerful jam.

Clearly Draymond Green watched Gordon’s show in Toronto as he smartly got out-of-the-way once he realized Gordon was going airborne. The fact that Gordon could so effortlessly throw that dunk down in a game is incredible, adding in that type of power to things is even crazier.

So yeah, Aaron Gordon is as good at dunking in games as he is during contests. Which is bad for the rest of the NBA.
