FanDuel NBA Picks For February 25

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my FanDuel NBA picks for February 25:

Next: Point Guards

Feb 21, 2016; Denver, CO, USA; Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas (4) in the fourth quarter against the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. The Celtics defeated the Nuggets 121-101. Mandatory Credit: Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Isaiah Thomas – Thomas is always a decent option in fantasy sports leagues, but with the chance that Marcus Smart will sit out tonight with a sprained thumb I think that Thomas could be looking at an increased usage rate and thus makes an excellent option.

PG – Brandon Jennings – Jennings has had two good games and one dud so far in his new threads. There is a chance that he throws up another dud, but at this small price that is the gamble that I am willing to take.

Next: Shooting Guards

Feb 7, 2016; Boston, MA, USA; Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley (0) drives during the second half of the Boston Celtics 128-119 win over the Sacramento Kings at TD Garden. Mandatory Credit: Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Avery Bradley – Bradley has been playing pretty well lately and also stands to benefit if Smart is out or limited in any fashion. Regardless of Smart I think that Bradley should be a good play for this contest tonight and only stands to benefit if Smart sits out.

SG – Evan Fournier – Fournier is quickly becoming a favorite go to guy for many daily league players which sometimes hurts us a bit, but with six games on the docket for tonight, he turns out as one of the better plays at this position.

Next: Small Forwards

Feb 19, 2016; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward (20) dribbles the ball during the second half against the Boston Celtics at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Jazz won 111-93. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo – One of the hardest things I have had to do in recent memory was learn how to spell Giannis Antetokounmpo. In my spare time I am already working on spelling his little brother’s name Thanasis’ name. Thankfully of course they have the same last name. At any rate the one they call ‘The Greek Freak’ has been on fire lately and needs to be in this lineup.

SF – Gordon Hayward – As I have said before Hayward is quickly becoming one of my favorite players to watch in the NBA and also a favorite to own in fantasy leagues. He is riding a string of several good games and only seems to be heating up more. I am going to ride him while I can.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Feb 23, 2016; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard (12) reacts during overtime against the Utah Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Utah won 117-114. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Aaron Gordon – Gordon is still a great value and is throwing down right around 30 fantasy points a game. If we got extra points for dunks he would be a beast, but even without that he will still be a great player to own specially in daily leagues.

PF – Thaddeus Young – Young has not been extremely hot lately, but he should still make for a good value play for us in this contest. He also should not be heavily owned across the FanDuel formats tonight and if he does go off then we are in even better shape.

Center:

C – Dwight Howard – Howard is not one of my favorite players to use here, but I like his price and I like him when he faces off against guys like Mason Plumlee. I think we can safely expect a pretty solid game out of Howard in tonight’s tilt.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you the best of luck in tonight’s contest.
