Stephen Jackson thinks his Golden State Warriors team would beat today’s (Video)

Stephen Jackson made a pretty bold statement on Thursday that absolutely no one believes.
The 2015-16 NBA season could end up being magical, mainly due to the fact that the Golden State Warriors are making an argument as the best team in history. As Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and the rest of the Warriors go on this quest, we keep asking ourselves whether or not they could beat some of the best teams that have ever graced the Association.
You know, like how we always ask ourselves whether or not this Warriors team could beat the 2007 Warriors? Wait … what?!?
Well, it seems that a member from that Warriors team, Stephen Jackson, believes that they in fact could not beat them. During an appearance on ESPN, Jackson came right out and guaranteed that his Warriors team from ’07 would certainly beat this Warriors team from today because they had more heart.
Go ahead, you can get your laughing out of the way. Trust me, it’s okay, everyone else is doing it.
Now of course, that Warriors team from then does hold some significance, as they did beat the No. 1 seed Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.
Here’s the thing, though: That Mavericks team was good, but they were no Warriors from 2015-16, all due respect. You can argue whether or not the Warriors from the present time would beat some of the best teams in history, but the ’07 Warriors are not one of them. Sorry, Stephen.
