The Warriors and Donald Trump were both in Oklahoma City on Friday, Golden State center Andrew Bogut trolled the presidential candidate
The Golden State Warriors arrived in Oklahoma City on Friday ahead of their huge matchup with the Thunder on Saturday night. Also in the heart of the U.S. on Friday, though, was controversial Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, whose stance on immigration has been widely criticized and trolled. The Australian center for the Warriors, Andrew Bogut, took this opportunity to troll Trump.
Bogut took to Twitter on Friday evening and acknowledged that he and the Warriors were in the same city as Trump as the presidential candidate was holding a rally. That’s when Bogut took aim at Trump and his immigration views with the absolutely perfectly executed troll:
In case you didn’t know, Bogut is one of the most intelligently humorous guys in the entire league and instances like this only further that notion. He’s so subtle with his implications that it’s just perfect in regards to the situation as a whole and the results are hilarious. Bonus points for Bogut for using the phrase “that Trump fella.”
One can only hope that this starts an epic beef between Bogut and Trump after someone at the rally tells Trump about this troll. We would probably have to just shut down 2016 as a whole out of the pure awesomeness that would ensue from such a beef.
