Here’s all the TV information for NASCAR’s weekend in Atlanta, as they get ready for the 2016 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
After a thrilling first race weekend of the season at Daytona, NASCAR now moves into their second week of the season at Atlanta. The big race of the weekend will be the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, where Jimmie Johnson will be looking to defend his crown after winning last season.
Not only is a win at stake this weekend, but so is another spot in the Chase. Last week, it was Denny Hamlin picking up the first spot in the Chase, as he won the closest finish in the history of the Daytona 500. Hamlin beat Martin Truex Jr. in a drag race by one-one-hundredth of a second to win.
Not only did Hamlin dominate, but so did the rest of his teammates at Joe Gibbs Racing. With the team controlling the movement of the pack up front, it really prevented anyone else from being able to get a run on them. This week, there are plenty of other drivers that will look to take down the Toyotas at the 1.54-mile track.
