Matthew Dellavedova is not going to gain a lot more fans after this move on Friday night.Â
Dating back to last season when he really made a name for himself in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ run to the NBA Finals, there are a lot of people out there that would classify Matthew Dellavedova as a dirty player on the defensive end of the floor. That’s always open for debate, but what happened on Friday night won’t really help his cause.
The Cavaliers are in a big Eastern Conference showdown with the Toronto Raptors, and in the second half of this one, Bismarck Biyombo was going to the hoop and Delly was under the rim ready to play some solid defense on the shot attempt.
Only thing was, he didn’t attempt to play any defense on the shot, he just went full WWE with the clothesline.
Yeah, so if you’re in the camp that believes Dellavedova is a dirty player on the court, then this is just a little more ammunition for you. You can clearly see that he had no intention of going for the ball, which makes it even worse.
