There are some great matchups tonight as the NBA gives us seven solid games to watch this Saturday.  The Pelicans and Timberwolves allow us to see two of the best young big men in the game, and that’s just the undercard for the epic battle we’ll hopefully get tonight as the Warriors visit the Thunder and Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry go at it in in the Primetime game of the week on ABC.  You can enjoy the action even more if you get your fantasy basketball team together with the help of my DraftKings daily picks and give yourself another reason to watch, follow, and cheer throughout what should be a very entertaining night of hoops.

More from Detroit Pistons

It’s a busy night in the NBA, but it’s a pretty compressed schedule as well with almost all the games around 8:00 or 9:00 tonight. As a warmup for the clash of the titans later in the night, things start at 7:00 PM ET when the Pelicans welcome in the Timberwolves.  At 8:00, the Rockets host the Spurs in a Lone Star State showdown while the Bulls host Damian Lillard and the Blazers in a matchup of two teams in races for the playoffs.  At 8:30, we get the Westbrook vs Curry matchup as the Warriors visit the Thunder for their second game of the season while in a less-flashy but still-compelling Eastern Conference matchup the Bucks host the Pistons. There aren’t any West Coast games late tonight, but we do close things out with a pair of  9:30 starts featuring the Grizzlies heading to the desert to face the sinking Suns and the Jazz welcoming the Nets to Salt Lake City.

With those 14 teams in action, we have a star-packed night ahead of us, so you’ll need some sleepers to get the options you want into your lineups. To find the options I think are the best plays for tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. To help you to that goal, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
