This UCLA volleyball player really went all out to make the save on this ball and deserves a standing ovation.
There are times in the sport of volleyball where you can see that it’s completely out of your grasp and you just concede that you’re not getting to it. Sure, we’ve seen some incredible saves in the sport in the past, but sometimes trying to save the ball is just a lost cause.
But then you have the relentless players who will stop at nothing to make sure that the ball stays alive, much like Micah Ma’a from UCLA that you’re about to see.
After the ball ricocheted off a teammate, it seemed as if all hope was lost; UCLA was going to have to eat it on this one. But, Ma’a was not giving up on the ball, and this was the result.
We didn't get the point but this sick save by Micah Ma'a deserves an 8 clap 👏🏼 #MicahWouldGo pic.twitter.com/RB582oRw63

There is no such thing as a lost cause you this young man. Nope, no matter what he had to do, he was keeping the ball in play.
It does kinda suck that they didn’t get the point, but that takes NOTHING away from this play.
