CAA Tournament 2016 Printable Bracket

A look at the bracket for the 2016 CAA Tournament that will start on March 4

With February coming to a close, the glorious month of March is almost upon us and with it comes one of the greatest traditions in all of sports as college basketball brings the gift of March Madness. However, the NCAA Tournament can’t get underway without getting the automatic bids taken care of in the conference tournaments. One of the first tournaments that will get underway is that of the CAA.

The college basketball action in the CAA this season was exhilarating with several programs showing the signs of being potential Cinderellas when March rolls around. Starting off the tournament on March 4, though, will be the four bottom teams in the conference with No. 8 Elon Phoenix and No. 9 Drexel Dragons facing off along with the No. 7 Charleston Cougars taking on No. 10 Delaware Blue Hens.

As for the top of the conference, the Hofstra Pride and UNC Wilmington Seahawks tied for the regular season title, but Hofstra will occupy the No. 1 seed after winning their final six regular season games with the Seahawks coming in at No. 2. Both teams have to be looked at as the favorites to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, but sleepers like the James Madison Dukes are out there lurking.
