Mavericks’ Dwight Powell dunks so hard he falls down (Video)
Dallas Mavericks power forward Dwight Powell dunked so hard over two Minnesota Timberwolves, that he crashed to the floor.
Someone needs to catch Dwight Powell, because he is coming back into orbit. Against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, the Dallas Mavericks’ power forward threw down one of the most powerful dunks of the season.
With a full head of steam, Powell took a dish and went straight up for the big slam. What ensued was Powell crashing down to the floor from dunking so hard. Luckily, he ended up catching himself or he would have landed smack dab right on the dome.
Powell gets full extension on the throwback, as Adreian Payne and Zach LaVine played the role of matadors and got clear out of the way as Powell went up. Unfortunately for Powell, there was no one to catch him from the brunt force of the impact except for himself.
If anyone has seen Payne and LaVine, they should probably let the Timberwolves know, because they went missing there. Someone should probably also check to see if the hoop is okay as well, because Powell just destroyed it.
It’s the 88th Academy Awards on Sunday night, and Powell just did his best impression of The Martian.
