Are the Houston Texans interested in a Colin Kaepernick trade?
After a dreadful 2015 season with the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick appears to be ready to leave to try and rejuvenate his career.
Finding a franchise quarterback is a very difficult thing to do in the NFL, and it wasn’t too long ago that Kaepernick was considered to be a future star in the NFL. One team that appears to be a great fit for Kaepernick is the Houston Texans.
The Texans have been trying to find their franchise quarterback for years but have been unsuccessful. When it was announced that Kaepernick was looking to be traded, the Texans seemed like a very logical destination for the 28-year-old.
It was originally reported by Ian Rapport that the Texans would be interested in trading for Kaepernick, but recent news may indicate otherwise.
#49ers still hope Colin Kaepernick is their QB in '16. If not, #Texans & #Browns (at least) will have some interest. No trade permission yet

More recently, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle has said that the Texans have no interest in trying to acquire Kaepernick this offseason.
By the way, Texans have no interest in trading for Colin Kaepernick.

After being benched for Blaine Gabbert last season, Kaepernick wants out of San Francisco, even with a change at head coach. The hiring of Chip Kelly appeared to be a great thing for the mobile Kaepernick, who would fit in Kelly’s offense great on paper.
With news that the Texans aren’t interested in Kaepernick, his list of possible suitors appears to be shrinking. If the Texans are out, the next most likely destination for a trade would be the Cleveland Browns, who also need an upgrade at the quarterback position.
Seeing what happens with Kaepernick this offseason will continue to be one of the most interesting stories to monitor this offseason. Kaepernick still can be a great quarterback, but there are a lot of question marks surrounding him, which seem to be scaring teams off.
