On Monday night, the Los Angeles Clippers unveiled their brand new mascot, ‘Chuck the Condor’ at halftime.

For most of Monday, speculation has been abound about what the new Los Angeles Clippers mascot would look like. During the Clippers’ game against the Brooklyn Nets, the Clippers officially unveiled their brand new mascot at halftime.

The brand new mascot is “Chuck the Condor” and he is as terrifying and strange as one could imagine. Chuck showed up wearing elbow pads, knee pads and a helmet while showing off his massive wings just like massive bird that once soared over the state.

Right off the bat, the new mascot is just as terrifying as one could imagine. As Steve Ballmer introduced Chuck to the crowd, everyone immediately fled for the exits of the arena. Okay, they actually didn’t do that, but there was plenty of puzzled looks on the faces of fans as they watched this radical bird get unveiled.

What exactly are the helmet, elbow and knee pads for? Is he going to bust out some sweet moves on a skateboard? Anyways, this is certainly one of the most strange mascots unveiled recently and it certainly is met with the same reception that the Clippers’ new logo was met with.

No longer will Clippers fans have to endure not having a wacky mascot shooting t-shirts to them up in the nosebleeds. From now on, Chuck will fly majestically over the Staples Center and shower the fans with t-shirts, foam fingers and plenty of nightmares.
