That was certainly the case on Saturday night, as the Oklahoma City Thunder took the reigning NBA champions to overtime and showed just how much of a threat they can be in the Western Conference when the playoffs arrive. If it wasn’t for some costly last-minute mistakes, OKC may have even taken home the win.
Yet, as the Warriors remained poised as champions do and Stephen Curry buried one of the most breathtaking shots of his career, basketball fans roared in disbelief and the Thunder’s hopes of a win were put to rest in an instant.
