NFL prospect Paxton Lynch has an interesting tie to WWE legend The Undertaker.
NFL quarterback prospect Paxton Lynch is set to potentially be selected high in the upcoming draft this spring. He recently finished up workouts at the NFL Combine and could compete for a starting job, depending where he gets picked in a few months.
With some players around sports, they have an interesting tie or two to names you wouldn’t believe. This is apparently the case for Lynch, whose father apparently roomed with WWE legend The Undertaker in college at Texas Wesleyan. Of course, he was only known by his real name of Mark Calaway back then.
Fun fact: Paxton Lynch's father played hoops at Texas Wesleyan, where his roommate was a 6-10 kid named Mark Calaway, aka, The Undertaker.

This is one that I don’t think anyone could have expected. Lynch’s father and the Dead Man? That seems like an awfully bizarre but funny combination that happened a long time ago.
Maybe we’ll see ‘Taker on the sidelines of one of Lynch’s games if the connection was that close. It would make for a few fun headlines to see the long-time WWE star outside of wrestling since those appearances are rare.
Of course, this wouldn’t happen but how about an appearance on Monday Night Raw for Lynch? That would make things a bit stranger than they already are.
