DeAndre Jordan destroys hoop with monster alley-oop (Video)

Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan absolutely destroyed a hoop after a huge lob from Chris Paul.

There was not a more energized building in the world on Monday night, than the Staples Center. The Los Angeles Clippers unveild their new mascot, “Chuck the Condor,” Steve Ballmer dunked off of a trampoline and DeAndre Jordan killed the rim with a vicious alley-oop slam.

With the crowd’s energy level ready to spill over, Jordan sent everyone in a frenzy slamming home a huge lob. The Brooklyn Nets didn’t put a body on him and Chris Paul threw a beautiful lob with his right hand to an open Jordan, who finished it off.

“Lob City” welcome Chuck to the family on Monday night, and they also put on a show for the fans in attendance. It’s hard to determine if Jordan destroying the hoop made the fans as happy as Ballmer throwing down a dunk off the trampoline, but they certainly were happy to see both.

Jordan has several of these highlights each week, but this dunk in particular, was certainly one of his best yet. It’s as if time froze and everyone prepared themselves for the destruction of the rim at Jordan’s hands.
