DeMarcus Cousins definitely thought about ending Steven Adams as they got into a minor tussle on Monday night

Sacramento Kings All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins was in quite a mood on Monday night as he led his team against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He almost got into a slight kerfuffle early in the game with Thunder superstar Kevin Durant, but he wasn’t done there. Late in the game, Steven Adams went down at Cousins’ feet and the two big men got tangled up. That’s when things almost got really bad for Boogie and Adams.

As Cousins tried to run down the floor, he almost ate it because Adams was basically tangled up between his feet. This greatly irked the Kings big man and, in an angry fit of rage, he cocked his fist and came just a foot or so away from delivering a haymaker right to the head of the seated Adams. Luckily, Boogie restrained himself and didn’t deliver the blow:

Cousins has really been in a bit of a rough patch as of late in regards to his behavior. Just last week he threw a fastball at the head of Chris Paul and was almost in two fights on Monday night against the Thunder.

The immaturity of Cousins has long been a narrative to follow in the NBA because of how talented he is in relation to his seeming lack of maturation. However, he really needs to not almost take opposing players’ heads off late in games that don’t really mean all that much if he’s ever going to fully be taken serious by everyone around the league.
