FanDuel NBA Picks For March 2

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my FanDuel NBA picks for March 2:

Next: Point Guards

Feb 26, 2016; New York, NY, USA; Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton (4) dribbles the ball as New York Knicks guard Jose Calderon (3) defends during the first half at Madison Square Garden. Mandatory Credit: Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Elfrid Payton – Payton is a solid value play for this contest. He has been averaging around 28 fantasy points over his last three games and has seemed to secure his starting spot despite the Magic acquiring Brandon Jennings in a trade.

PG – Jerryd Bayless – Bayless returned from his five-game absence in nice form with over 28 fantasy points. He benefited from the absence of Michael Carter-Williams who did not practice on Tuesday and is considered highly questionable for this game. Bayless should still be a good play even if MCW suits up, but we have a few dollars to play with if he does suit up.

Next: Shooting Guards

Feb 28, 2016; Atlanta, GA, USA; Charlotte Hornets guard Nicolas Batum (5) drives on Atlanta Hawks forward Kent Bazemore (24) in the first quarter at Philips Arena. Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Nicolas Batum – Batum has not been real hot lately, but on Tuesday’s game he came out on fire and has delivered a 30 point fantasy game. He should be a solid play for us in this contest and hopefully he will be back on track.

SG – Eric Gordon – Gordon returned after a month-long absence and delivered a sparkling 40 point fantasy performance. The Pelicans are so thin right now that Gordon should be a great value play. He will probably not put up another performance like that, but he should still be a great play.

Next: Small Forwards

Small Forwards:

SF – Trevor Ariza – I had a hard time fading the Greek Freak here, but I could not pass up the value of Ariza here. He has been lighting it up and is coming off of a 49 point fantasy gem. He should continue to be solid and be a good value for us in this contest.

SF – Kevin Durant – Durant is always a good play and is a safe bet to drop a 50 point fantasy game. Durant is one of the best players in the game and he has been on fire. With the play of Stephen Curry lately Durant and many others have been overshadowed. That does not make him a bad play so go ahead and get him active here.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Feb 23, 2016; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon (00) dribbles against the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center. The Orlando Magic won 124-115. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Aaron Gordon – Gordon has been one of the hotter forwards in basketball lately. I am loving having him on a few of my regular season teams and draft him every chance I get in daily leagues. Pretty soon his price will increase and he will be hard to roster here in FanDuel, but for now keep him active.

PF – Jabari Parker – Parker is on the verge of a true breakout here lately. He has been playing well and seems to be as healthy as he has ever been in his career. He is also coming off of a 49 point fantasy gem and shows no signs of slowing down.

Center:

C – Karl-Anthony Towns – Towns has been a little bit streaky in his past four games. He has bounced from 25 to 50 points in his past four games. His last game was 25 so if he keeps this streak up we could be in for a 50 point game. Now of course I don’t believe that this will happen, but I do think that Towns will bounce back nicely and be a solid play for us here.
