The Wolverines are taking advantage of being out of the cold for this week and soaking in the Florida sunshine.
You can’t blame the Michigan Wolverines football team if they have no sympathy for their friends and classmates back in Ann Arbor this week. While those up north are dealing with temperatures barely expected to hit 30 degrees over the next few days, head coach Jim Harbaugh has his team in Bradenton, Florida for the week holding the first week of spring practice at the IMG Academy (where the temperature on Tuesday is expected to be 75 and sunny).
On the field, Harbaugh has his team working hard while looking to build off a 10-3 season in 2015 that culminated with a huge blowout win over the Florida Gators in the Citrus Bowl:
The visit from the Wolverines has brought out some special guest, including nearby resident and ESPN basketball analyst Dick Vitale:

It hasn’t been all work for the players, who have been soaking up the sun and enjoying plenty of activities that have nothing to do with the gridiron:

Harbaugh had announced plans to hold part of camp in Florida during National Signing Day, a move that was met with resistance from the SEC and its member schools. A last second effort to stop the move was stopped by the NCAA, who said it didn’t violate any rules.
