35.
With as fluid as the 2016 NFL Draft appears to be right now, there is little debate about what the Titans should do with the top overall pick. Laremy Tunsil is easily the most popular choice to fill this draft position, and it makes all the sense in the world that Tennessee would elect to add a potential Pro Bowl left tackle to the mix.

There is an argument (and one that I would make) that Tunsil isn’t the best player in the 2016 class, but in the absence of a head-and-shoulders number one talent, he occupies the top tier. At 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds, Tunsil brings great athleticism and skill to the table with enough strength to profile as a left tackle long-term, and the Titans could seriously use an upgrade at the position while moving former Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan to a more natural position of right tackle.

In the end, though, the biggest reason that Tunsil should be the pick is the presence of Marcus Mariota. The former Oregon quarterback had a highly successful debut campaign in 2015, and Tennessee has their quarterback of the future. While the Titans could certainly use some help at several positions, protecting Mariota is paramount to everything the organization needs to do moving forward, and that makes Tunsil a fantastic fit with the top overall pick. It must makes too much sense.
. OT. Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil. 1. player
