An errant miss by Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, turned into a lob for Shaun Livingston.
The Golden State Warriors have to go at it against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, without Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala. Without two key players, it means the Warriors are going to have everyone else step up if they’re going to keep on rolling toward history. Two players that were stepping up early on Tuesday night, were Draymond Green and Shaun Livingston.
The two players even unintentionally connected on a play for two points. As Green was working in the paint, he caught some contact from a Hawks defender and threw up a wobbly shot that didn’t land anywhere near the mark. Where it did land was into the ascending arms of Shaun Livingston, who slammed the lob home.
It started off as an errant miss, but it turned into quite the lob.
"Just like @money23green drew it up! #FanNight https://t.co/t21E48nMIK— NBA TV (@NBATV) March 2, 2016"
The best part is that rather being happy that his teammate finished off the shot for two points, Green threw up his arms in frustration, as he was trying to figure out where the whistle was for the contact on the play.
His frustration is understandable, but he should at least be happy that his teammate was there to pick him up.
